… when Mike started to choke. Me and my friends started to panic and Anna took her flashlight and directed it into Mike. There was something scary behind him. It was all wet, dark, wrinkled and it was holding Mike’s neck. Jack threw his chocolate bar into the monster’s face and it fell down. We couldn’t believe it, it was dead. We were so happy and we even made a song about how we are not afraid of monsters and if we see it, we kill it. It is kind of a scary one. So Anna wanted to celebrate the murder and eat on the dead monster. We didn’t like her idea so we ate on the floor. But suddenly all the candies were starting to disappear and we fell into a deep cave under the house. Our landing was not soft and even before Anna turned her flashlight on, we knew that we landed on a pile of bones. The cave was full of skeletons, and there were mice everywhere. Anna and I started to scream and cry because we thought that this was it, our life is over. Jack and Mike tried to find a way out but it was too dark. We decided that we will wait till the next morning because we will be more rested.
We went to sleep, but something moved under my backpack. I started to scream and we saw another monster but this time it was smaller and cuter. But it had a knife in its hand and Anna hysterically threw a flashlight into it and it melted. Another monster was dead but our only light was “dead” too. We all hugged and fell asleep. Mike woke us because he heard a noise. Someone was knocking on the wall next to us. We started to scream and suddenly a big axe made a hole in the wall. We were afraid but full of hope that everything will get better. Then the axe made another hole and two miners looked through the holes. We were so happy and they saved us. They took us to our families and the old house was destroyed next day. Dear granddaughter I told you this story because I don’t want you to get lost in a forest and please never visit an old abandoned house. Now go to bed it’s 10 o’clock already. Goodnight.
